Description
Θυμιατή ποδιά, υφαντή, με βαμβακερό στημόνι και μεταξωτό υφάδι για το κέντημα, γραμμένη στον αργαλειό από έμπειρες υφάντρες. Είναι η πιο επίσημη, καθώς έχει τον πιο πολύπλοκο διάκοσμο, και φοριέται από τις νύφες, αλλά και τις νιόπαντρες και τις έγκυες σε εξαιρετικές περιστάσεις. Είναι μονόφυλλη, σε σχήμα ορθογωνίου παραλληλογράμμου. Συνήθως στερεώνεται κάτω από το ζουνάρι με την κορώνα (ζώνη) χωρίς να δένεται και γι' αυτό στο πάνω τμήμα είναι λεπτή, χωρίς διάκοσμο, παρά μόνο τέσσερις ενυφασμένες, λεπτόριγες, χρωματιστές, οριζόντιες ζώνες. Βέβαια, μεταγενέστερα, έχουν επιρραφθεί μουσταρδί, μάλλινα κορδόνια για να δένεται η ποδιά στη μέση. Τα οριζόντια διατεταγμένα μοτίβα, γνωστά ως τα θυμιατά, είναι σχηματοποιημένα, σε χρώματα χρυσοκίτρινο, κόκκινο, πράσινο και λευκό που εναλλάσσονται. Ρίγες από ρόμβους που εναλλάσσονται με μοτίβα
"Χ", στα χρώματα του γενικού διακόσμου, διαχωρίζουν όλες τις ζώνες διακόσμησης. Η ποδιά απολήγει σε κροσσάκια από μάλλινα, βαμβακερά και μεταξωτά, χρωματιστά νήματα.
