Description
Καραγκούνικη ποδιά από βυσσινί τσόχα κεντημένη με χρυσά γαϊτάνια. Πρόκειται για απλή αλλά καλοδουλεμένη ποδιά που φορέθηκε γύρω στα 1940, η χρήση της όμως γενικεύτηκε μετά το 1950. Το σχήμα της είναι τραπεζιοειδές και αποτελείται από τρία βασικά κομμάτια, δύο οριζόντια, το αμπόλι και την πόστα και ένα κατακόρυφο, την κυρίως ποδιά. Το αμπόλι είναι είδος ζώνης φτιαγμένο από βελούδινο ύφασμα σε πράσινο χρώμα με γραμμική διακόσμηση, που ξεκινά από ένα κεντρικό κατακόρυφο μοτίβο που το συνθέτουν δύο αντίνωτοι κύκλοι. Η κυρίως ποδιά έχει δύο κατακόρυφες ραφές που υποδηλώνονται με γαζιά. Αυτές οι ραφές τη χωρίζουν σε τρία μέρη, στη "μάνα" και σε δύο όμοια πλαϊνά φύλλα, τις λόξες ή τα λαγκιόλια. Μια κεντητή ταινία πλάτους 4εκ. πλαισιώνει ομοιόμορφα και
ισοδύναμα και τις τέσσερις πλευρές της ποδιάς. Μια σειρά από τριγωνικά μοτίβα, τα ντουγαδάκια, περιτρέχουν εσωτερικά τις τέσσερις πλευρές της. Ολόγυρα η ποδιά είναι γαρνιρισμένη με δυο σειρές χρυσό γαϊτάνι και ρελιασμένη με πράσινη τσόχα. Στην πόστα, το κατώτατο μέρος της ποδιάς, πάνω σε μπλε τσόχα είναι κεντημένα δύο ταινιόσχημα θέματα. Στην πρώτη ζώνη η διακόσμηση γίνεται με το μοτίβο της διπλής κύκλας με τα δύο ματάκια (ζιγκ-ζαγκ) και στη δεύτερη με το μοτίβο του κουτρουλού κυνηγού (σπειρομαίανδρος που πλαισιώνεται από θηλίτσες). Η ποδιά είναι φοδραρισμένη με εμπριμέ βαμβακερό ύφασμα (τσίτι).
