Description
Σκουτ, ή πρεσκούτνικ όπως λέγεται στην Άνω Ορεινή, μάλλινη, μονόφυλλη, ορθογώνια παραλληλόγραμμη, υφαντή στον αργαλειό ποδιά. Στα άνω άκρα, μάλλινα, επίρραπτα, πλεχτά κορδόνια, σε χρώμα μπλε - οινέρυθρο, για να στερεώνεται η ποδιά στη μέση. Ο βαθυκόκκινος κάμπος της διακόπτεται από οριζόντιες, ενυφασμένες ρίγες, σε χρώματα κίτρινο, πράσινο, μπλε, φούξια. λευκό και μαύρο. Κατά διαστήματα σχηματίζονται έξι φαρδιές ενυφασμένες ζώνες, με πλάγια παραλληλόγραμμα οι πρώτες τρεις, επάλληλες γωνίες ("<") οι τέταρτη και έκτη και επαναλαμβανόμενα μοτίβα "Ζ" η προτελευταία. Τα μοτίβα όλα έχουν χρώμα λευκό, μωβ, πράσινο, φούξια, βαθυκόκκινο, μπλε και κίτρινο, που εναλλάσσονται. Οι κατακόρυφες πλευρές είναι ρελιασμένες με κίτρινη μάλλινη κλωστή. Εξωτερικά από το ρέλιασμα υπάρχει κέντημα ψιλό σε χρώματα ίδια με αυτά του διακόσμου της ποδιάς, που εναλλάσσονται. Η απόληξη της σκουτ γίνεται με πυκνά, χρωματιστά κρόσσια, κρόshα ή κιτσίλα, στερεωμένα μεταξύ τους οριζόντια με βελονιά κασινάκι, τέσσερις σειρές, σε χρώματα πράσινο, φούξια, μπλε και κίτρινο. Η σκουτ φοριέται πάνω από το ζαμπούν (αμάνικος επενδύτης).
