Description
Σκυριανό τσεμπέρι, μωρουδιακό επιμετώπιο από μεταξωτό ύφασμα κεντημένο με την τεχνική του τσελντέ (τριγωνικό τελάρο) από ειδική τεχνίτρα, την καπιτσαλού. Η τεχνική του κεντήματος είναι ίδια με αυτή του συρμακέσικου κεντήματος και γίνεται πάντα πάνω σε βελούδο ή μεταξωτό ύφασμα. Το σχέδιο του κεντήματος κόβεται σε χαρτί και προσαρμόζεται στην πάνω επιφάνεια του υφάσματος, ενώ από κάτω προσαρμόζεται λεπτό χαρτόνι. Το σχήμα του τσεμπεριού είναι τριγωνικό και καταλήγει σε αμβλεία γωνία. Είναι κεντημένο με χρυσόνεμα και τιρτίρι και διακοσμημένο με μπλίρες (πούλιες) και χρωματιστά αστρουλάκια. Δεξιά και αριστερά του κεντρικού κομματιού που φέρει τη διακόσμηση ράβονται δύο λωρίδες που καταλήγουν σε δύο άκρες λεπτές. Με τις λωρίδες αυτές στερεώνεται το τσεμπέρι στο κεφαλάκι του μωρού.
