Description
Μανικούλια, ζεύγος επιμάνικων που φοριούνται πάνω από τα καβαδομάνικα. Είναι δώρο του γαμπρού προς τη νύφη και φοριούνται από τις αρραβωνιασμένες, τις νύφες και τις νιόπαντρες. Πρόκειται για τραπεζιόσχημες, επιμήκεις φαρδιές ταινίες που κλείνουν με κόπιτσες στην εσωτερική πλευρά του βραχίονα και εκτείνονται από την κλείδωση του αγκώνα και προς τα πάνω. Τα μανικούλια φτιάχνονται και κεντιώνται από το ράφτη. Εσωτερικά είναι ενισχυμένα με καναβάτσο και ύστερα ασταρωμένα (φοδραρισμένα) με πράσινο και μπλε κατφέ (βελούδο), μπλε ρούχο (τσόχα) και τσίτι με μωβ λουλουδάκια σε καρό κάμπο. Η τερζήδικη διακόσμησή τους είναι καμωμένη με χρυσό κορδόνι, σε δύο οριζόντιες ζώνες. Από κάτω προς τα πάνω, στην πρώτη ζώνη έχουμε ντουγαδάκια (τριγωνικά μοτίβα), ζέχια (ευθείες γραμμές) με κορδόνι χρυσό και κοσανίτσα (πλεχτό,
δίχρωμο κορδόνι), μια σειρά γαϊτάνι διπλό, από κίτρινη μεταξωτή κλωστή και χρυσόνημα, και ύστερα η διακόσμηση επαναλαμβάνεται αντίνωτα. Στη δεύτερη ζώνη, από κάτω προς τα πάνω έχουμε ντουγαδάκια, ζέχια, θηλίτσες, μπορντούρα με κλήμα (σχηματοποιημένο φυτικό μοτίβο), ζέχια, θηλίτσες, δυο σειρές γαϊτάνι και τέλος πάλι ντουγαδάκια με τρεις θηλιές.
