Description
Μπουστομάνικα, κοντός μπούστος με μακριά μανίκια από λευκό βαμβακερό αργαλίσιο ύφασμα. Αποτελεί εξάρτημα της ανδρικής φορεσιάς του Πυργιού της Χίου, η οποία είναι γνωστή ως ποδιές ή ρασοζίπουνα. Πρόκειται για φορεσιά που επέζησε μέχρι και τις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα, η οποία είναι πιθανόν ν' απηχεί το μεσαιωνικό τύπο φορεσιάς των αγροτών ορισμένων νησιών του Αιγαίου. Στα υπόλοιπα χωριά της Χίου επικρατεί ο γνωστός τύπος της νησιωτικής φορεσιάς με βράκα. Ο μπούστος αποτελείται από ένα μονοκόμματο φύλλο μπρος-πίσω και είναι κατακόρυφα ανοιχτός μπροστά. Κάθετα στον κορμό ενώνονται τα μακριά μανίκια πλάτους 19εκ. και μήκους 50εκ. καμωμένα από ένα φύλλο. Στην ένωσή τους με τον κορμό η διακόσμηση γίνεται με κεντητή ένωση με τη βελόνα του ραψίματος. Η κεντητή ένωση γαρνίρεται
κατά μήκος με ροζ και φούξια γεωμετρικά μοτίβα και πλαισιώνεται με πολύχρωμα ανθικά μοτίβα, σχηματοποιημένα με πράσινες, ροζ, πορτοκαλί, πετρόλ, μπεζ και φούξια μάλλινες κλωστές. Ο γύρος των μανικιών είναι στολισμένος με πολύχρωμο σχηματοποιημένο φυτικό διάκοσμο, άτεχνα δουλεμένο. Στο τελείωμα των μανικιών επίρραπτη διακόσμηση με τρέσα του εμπορίου με λευκοκέντημα.
