Description
Βραντζίν, βράκα γυναικεία από υπόλευκο βαμβακερό ύφασμα με ενυφασμένες κατακόρυφες ρίγες και αλατζιά, βαμβακερό ριγωτό υφαντό, χαμηλά στα μπατζάκια. Αποτελείται από δύο μεγάλα τμήματα, συρραμμένα μεταξύ τους στον καβάλο και κατακόρυφα στη μέση εμπρός και πίσω. Τα τμήματα αυτά σχηματίζουν τα μπατζάκια. Στη συνέχειά τους, τμήματα από υπόλευκο βαμβακερό σατέν. Στη μέση έχει στρίφωμα με σούρα και φακαρόλα για να στερεώνεται. Επίρραπτα είναι τα ποδονάρια (πο(δ)ϊνάρκα ή ποβράτζια) από αλατζιά και στο κάτω μέρος έχουν λάστιχο που σχηματίζει σούρα. Ο αλατζάς έχει ενυφασμένες οριζόντιες και κατακόρυφες ρίγες σε χρώματα λευκό, μπλε και καφέ καμηλί. Τα ποδονάρια της κυπριακής βράκας είναι συνήθως πυκνοκεντημένα.
