Description
Χαλένια ποδιά με τα τσάρκια και κροσσωτή απόληξη, υφαντή, ολόμαλλη, γραμμένη στον αργαλειό από έμπειρες υφάντρες. Φοριέται τις Κυριακές και τις "μικρές" επισημες ημέρες. Είναι μονόφυλλη, σε σχήμα ορθογωνίου παραλληλογράμμου. Στερεώνεται κάτω από το ζουνάρι με την κορώνα (ζώνη) χωρίς να δένεται και γι' αυτό στο πάνω τμήμα έχει ύφασμα λεπτό, από καφέ βελούδο, όμοιο με του καφτανιού (φόρεμα). Ο υφαντός διάκοσμος της ποδιάς, γνωστός ως τα τσάρκια, είναι διατεταγμένος οριζόντια με σχηματοποιημένα, οδοντωτά μοτίβα σε χρώματα πράσινο, κόκκινο, βυσσινί, λευκό (βαμβακερά νήματα), ροζ και μπλε που εναλλάσσονται. Στα άκρα των δύο κατακόρυφων πλευρών, δύο τεθλασμένες γραμμές τέμνονται και δημιουργούν επάλληλους, μικρούς ρόμβους, σε χρώματα μπλε και πορτοκαλέρυθρο. Εξωτερικά αυτών, επίρραπτη κορδέλα μάλλινη, με τρεις ρίγες (μπλε η μεσαία, κόκκινες
οι ακριανές). Τις ζώνες διαχωρίζει ταινία που ορίζεται από στενές ρίγες με μικρά μοτίβα "V" και "Λ" και στο κέντρο έχει φαρδιά ρίγα με πλάγια παραλληλόγραμμα και ρόμβους στο εσωτερικό.
