With the collection of regional and city-style garments and jewellery as its largest discrete section, and its special-interest collection of costumes from the Minoan, Ancient Greek, and Byzantine eras,

the CMLE also includes many individual ensembles, objects, archives, and “special collections” with items of costuming interest that focus on the present day, reflecting current social topics and developments.
