Description
Ποδιά, μονόφυλλη, δίμιτη, μάλλινη, υφαντή στον αργαλειό από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες. Η ποδιά διακοσμείται από οριζόντιες, ενυφασμένες ρίγες, σε χρώματα βυσσινί, μαύρο, λευκό, κίτρινο και κυπαρισσί που εναλλάσσονται. Στις φαρδιές κίτρινες και πράσινες ζώνες, οι οποίες είναι τέσσερις, είναι κεντημένα τέσσερα σχηματοποιημένα μοτίβα σε κάθε ζώνη, καμωμένα με πλακέ βελονιά από μάλλινες πολύχρωμες κλωστές. Στο κάτω τμήμα υπάρχει φαρδιά μαύρη ρίγα, πλαισιωμένη από δύο κίτρινες, που πάνω έχει τέσσερα σχηματοποιημένα φυτικά μοτίβα (θυμίζουν δεντράκια), καμωμένα με την ίδια βελονιά από λευκή και βυσσινί μάλλινη κλωστή, εναλλάξ. Η ποδιά απολήγει σε μάλλινα πολύχρωμα κροσσάκια που κοσμούν, εκτός από την κάτω οριζόντια πλευρά, και 20εκ. από τις κατακόρυφες. Το υπόλοιπο τμήμα περιτρέχει επίρραπτο κίτρινο μάλλινο γαϊτάνι, διακόπτεται όμως, απότομα, στα 17εκ.
του κέντρου της άνω οριζόντιας πλευράς. Συνήθως, από τα άνω άκρα ξεκινούν κορδέλες ή κορδόνια για να στερεώνεται η ποδιά στη μέση.
