Description
Ποδιά, μονόφυλλη, δίμιτη, μάλλινη, υφαντή στον αργαλειό από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες. Η ποδιά στο μεγαλύτερο τμήμα είναι μονόχρωμη, οινέρυθρη, και διακοσμείται με κέντημα, καμωμένο με πλακέ βελονιά από πολύχρωμες μάλλινες κλωστές. Κατακόρυφες, τεθλασμένες γραμμές, που διακόπτονται σχηματίζοντας αυτοτελή μοτίβα με λευκές κουκίδες στις γωνίες, χωρίζουν την ποδιά σε τρεις άνισες κατακόρυφες ζώνες που φτάνουν μετά το κέντρο. Στην κεντρική ζώνη, οχτώ σχηματοποιημένα φυτικά μοτίβα, σε κατακόρυφη διάταξη, με χρωματικούς συνδυασμούς που εναλλάσσονται. Το τμήμα αυτό είναι ολόγυρα ρελιασμένο με λευκή βαμβακερή κλωστή. Το κάτω τμήμα έχει ενυφασμένες οριζόντιες ρίγες, σε χρώματα μπλε - λευκό, πράσινο, μαύρο, οινέρυθρο και λευκό, αλλά και λευκές, κεντητές, οριζόντιες, τεθλασμένες γραμμές. Στο κέντρο του, στη φαρδιά μαύρη ζώνη, τέσσερα κεντητά σχηματοποιημένα μοτίβα, τοποθετημένα οριζόντια,
καμωμένα με την ίδια βελονιά από οινέρυθρη και λευκή μάλλινη κλωστή, που εναλλάσσονται. Η ποδιά απολήγει σε μάλλινα πολύχρωμα κροσσάκια που κοσμούν, εκτός από την κάτω οριζόντια πλευρά, και 20εκ. από τις κατακόρυφες. Συνήθως, από τα άνω άκρα ξεκινούν κορδόνια από για να στερεώνεται η ποδιά στη μέση.
