Description
Ποδιά, μονόφυλλη, δίμιτη, μάλλινη, υφαντή στον αργαλειό από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες. Η ποδιά διακοσμείται από οριζόντιες, ενυφασμένες ρίγες, σε χρώματα βυσσινί σκούρο, μαύρο, άσπρο, κυπαρισσί και μπλε, που εναλλάσσονται. Οι λευκές ρίγες ορίζουν πέντε οριζόντιες φαρδιές ζώνες. Στο κέντρο κάθε ζώνης υπάρχει κέντημα, καμωμένο με πλακέ βελονιά από μάλλινες και βαμβακερές πολύχρωμες κλωστές. Τα μοτίβα στις τέσσερις πρώτες ζώνες είναι κοινά: τρία μικρά σχηματοποιημένα μοτίβα, ένα μικρό δικτυωτό πλέγμα στην ουσία με με γέμισμα στα κενά. Τα χρώματα των μοτίβων αυτών είναι: οινέρυθρο, κίτρινο, μπλε ηλεκτρίκ και μαύρο. Η τελευταία ζώνη διακοσμείται από τέσσερα σχηματοποιημένα μοτίβα, καμωμένα με την ίδια βελονιά από λευκή βαμβακερή και βυσσινί μάλλινη κλωστή. Η ποδιά απολήγει σε πολύχρωμα μάλλινα κροσσάκια που κοσμούν, εκτός από
την κάτω οριζόντια πλευρά, και 20εκ. από τις κατακόρυφες. Το υπόλοιπο τμήμα περιτρέχει επίρραπτο δίχρωμο βαμβακερό γαϊτάνι (λευκό - γαλάζιο). Συνήθως από τα άνω άκρα ξεκινούν κορδόνια για να στερεώνεται η ποδιά στη μέση.
