Description
Ποδιά που φοριέται με τη νεοτέρου τύπου καρπάθικη φορεσιά, το σακκοφούστανο ή φουστάνι, όταν το κορίτσι φθάσει δέκα χρονών. Στα δεκαπέντε που πλέον θεωρείται ώριμη γυναίκα, φορά το καβάι πάνω από τον σάκκο εκτός από την κανακαρά (πρωτότοκη) που δεν ξαναφορά πια το σάκκο. Η ποδιά είναι απο ζωηρόχρωμο μπλε σατέν πτυχωτό ύφασμα με ενυφασμένα φυτικά μοτίβα (κλαδωτό). Αποτελείται από το κυρίως τμήμα και το κάτω μέρος, που φέρει επίρραπτο βολάν από το ίδιο ύφασμα και δαντέλα του μέτρου. Επάνω, κορδέλα από το ίδιο ύφασμα για να δένει στη μέση. Δεξιά επάνω επίρραπτο τσεπάκι. Την ποδιά κοσμεί πλούσιος επίρραπτος διάκοσμος με χρυσά σειρήτια, κόκκινες μεταξωτές και χρυσές κορδέλες και πούλιες σε κατακόρυφη και οριζόντια διάταξη, αλλά και ολόγυρα στο τσεπάκι.
