Description
Καραγκούνικη ποδιά από μαύρη τσόχα, κεντημένη με άσπρα (ασημένια) και χρυσά γαϊτάνια με ελάχιστες χρωματιστές ουτρές. Ανήκει στην κατηγορία της κλειστής ποδιάς, όπου το καθένα από τα πέντε κομμάτια της κυρίως ποδιάς πλαισιώνονται από την ίδια κεντητή ταινία και γίνεται έτσι αυτοτελές, περίκλειστο. Ο τύπος της ποδιάς φορέθηκε από τις Καραγκούνες τόσο της Καρδίτσας, όσο και του Παλαμά και των Σοφάδων γύρω στα 1920-1940. Το σχήμα της είναι τραπεζιοειδές και αποτελείται από τρία βασικά κομμάτια, δύο οριζόντια, το αμπόλι και την πόστα και ένα κατακόρυφο, την κυρίως ποδία. Το αμπόλι είναι ένα είδος ζώνης από βυσσινί βελούδο με σταμπωτή διακόσμηση. Όλα τα κομμάτια της κυρίως ποδιάς στολίζονται με την ίδια κεντητή ταινία, η οποία αποτελείται από το σταυρωτό (συνδυασμός από
δύο συμπλεκόμενα ζιγκ-ζαγκ) και από τον κυνηγό με θηλίτσα (σπειρομαίανδρος που στο πάνω μέρος του έχει θηλίτσες). Ο κυνηγός είναι κεντημένος στην εσωτερική παρυφή της κεντητής ταινίας. Στη βάση των μεγαλύτερων κομματιών των λαγκιολιών και της "μάνας" η διακόσμηση συμπληρώνεται με μεσόκλειδα, από συνεχόμενα και συμπλεκόμενα ημικύκλια, γαρνιρισμένα με ελάχιστες πράσινες ούτρες. Τα δύο μικρότερα κομμάτια των λαγκιολιών έχουν διακόσμηση απλουστευμένη, καθώς παραλείπεται από τη βάση τους το μοτίβο της μεσόκλειδας. Στην πόστα, το κατώτατο τμήμα της ποδιάς, πάνω σε δύο φάσες από κόκκινη και πράσινη τσόχα είναι κεντημένα δύο ταινιόσχημα διακοσμητικά θέματα με το ίδιο μοτίβο της μεσόκλειδας, το οποίο κατά διαστήματα γαρνίρεται με κόκκινες πράσινες και μπλε μεταξωτές ουτρές. Η ποδιά είναι φοδραρισμένη με βαμβακερό ύφασμα.
