Description
Καραγκούνικη ποδιά από βυσσινί τσόχα, κεντημένη με άσπρα και χρυσά γαϊτάνια. Πρόκειται για απλή αλλά καλοδουλεμένη ποδιά που φορέθηκε γύρω στα 1940, η χρήση της όμως γενικεύτηκε μετά το 1950. Το σχήμα της είναι τραπεζιοειδές και αποτελείται από τρία βασικά κομμάτια, δύο οριζόντια, το αμπόλι και την πόστα και ένα κατακόρυφο, την κυρίως ποδιά. Το αμπόλι είναι ένα είδος ζώνης φτιαγμένο από βελούδινο ύφασμα σε μπλε χρώμα, διακοσμημένο με το σταυρωτό, μοτίβο που δημιουργείται από το συνδυασμό δύο συμπλεκόμενων ζιγκ-ζαγκ από ασημένιο (άσπρο) γαϊτάνι. Η κυρίως ποδιά έχει δύο κατακόρυφες ραφές που υποδηλώνονται με γαζιά. Αυτές οι ραφές τη χωρίζουν σε τρία μέρη, στη "μάνα" και σε δύο όμοια πλαϊνά φύλλα, τις λόξες ή τα λαγκιόλια. Μια κεντητή ταινία πλάτους
4εκ. πλαισιώνει ομοιόμορφα και ισοδύναμα και τις τέσσερις πλευρές της. Ολόγυρα η ποδιά είναι γαρνιρισμένη με δυο σειρές άσπρο γαϊτάνι και ρελιασμένη με πράσινη τσόχα. Στην πόστα, στο κατώτατο μέρος της ποδιάς, πάνω σε μαύρη τσόχα είναι κεντημένα δύο ταινιόσχημα θέματα. Η ποδιά είναι φοδραρισμένη με εμπριμέ βαμβακερό ύφασμα (τσίτι).
