Description
Ποδιά που φοριέται με τη νεοτέρου τύπου καρπάθικη φορεσιά, το σακκοφούστανο ή φουστάνι, όταν το κορίτσι φθάσει δέκα χρονών. Στα δεκαπέντε που πλέον θεωρείται ώριμη γυναίκα, φορά το καβάι πάνω από τον σάκκο, εκτός από την κανακαρά (πρωτότοκη) που δεν ξαναφορά πια το σάκκο. Η ποδιά είναι από ροδί σατέν πτυχωτό ύφασμα με χρυσά ενυφασμένα φυτικά μοτίβα (κλαδωτό). Αποτελείται από το κυρίως τμήμα και το κάτω μέρος, που φέρει επίρραπτο βολάν απο το ίδιο ύφασμα και δαντέλα του μέτρου. Επάνω, κορδέλα από το ίδιο ύφασμα για να δένει στη μέση. Την ποδιά κοσμεί επίρραπτος διάκοσμος με σειρήτια (μπλε και πράσινο-χρυσό), πολύχρωμες συνθετικές κορδέλες και τρέσα του μέτρου (διακοσμημένη με χρυσούς μαιάνδρους σε μαύρο φόντο) σε κατακόρυφη και οριζόντια διάταξη.
