Description
Βαμβακερό υφαντό πουκάμισο κεντημένο με μαύρες μάλλινες κλωστές. Αποτελείται από ένα κεντρικό ενιαίο φύλλο μπρος και πίσω, τη "μάνα", και από δύο λοξά φύλλα στο κάθε πλάι, τα λαγκιόλια. Κάθετα στον κορμό είναι πρόχειρα ραμμένα τα μανίκια, καθώς οι Καραγκούνες τα συχνάλλαζαν ανάλογα με τις περιστάσεις χρήσης του πουκάμισου. Γι' αυτό το λόγο τα έραβαν, τα κεντούσαν και τα κρατούσαν ξεχωριστά από το κυρίως πουκάμισο. Το πουκάμισο κατατάσσεται στην ενδυματολογική ομάδα των χωριών του κύκλου του Παλαμά Καρδίτσας, καθώς τα μανίκια είναι καμωμένα από το ίδιο λευκό βαμβακερό πανί με το υπόλοιπο κορμί. Ο γύρος του λαιμού και το κατακόρυφο άνοιγμα, η τραχηλιά ύψους 33εκ., είναι διακοσμημένα με στενή μονόχρωμη κεντητή ταινία που στη μία πλευρά της κατά μήκος φέρει
κουκούλια βιτσίσια, μικρά γεωμετρικά μοτίβα στρωμένα με σταυροβούλια και γεμισμένα με οριζόντιες βίτσες. Τα επίρραπτα μανίκια είναι διακοσμημένα στο γύρο τους με πυκνό μαύρο κέντημα. Η κλάρα, η κατακόρυφη κεντημένη λουρίδα από τον καρπό ως τον ώμο, είναι διακοσμημένη με δύο ταινιόσχημα θέματα με πυκνό μαύρο κέντημα, που κατά μήκος τους φέρουν σταυροβουλίσια κεντήματα. Ο ποδόγυρος ή πάτος είναι κεντημένος με πυκνά μαύρα κατακόρυφα γαζιά και με μια σειρά από μονόχρωμα κουκούλια γαζίσια, γεωμετρικά μοτίβα, στρωμένα με σταυροβούλια και γεμισμένα με κατακόρυφα γαζιά. Τόσο ο γύρος των μανικιών, όσο και του ποδόγυρου δε φέρουν φούντες, που συνήθως στα πουκάμισα του Παλαμά είναι πιο κοντές καμωμένες από μαλλί.
