Description
Πουκαμίσα με τις ποδιές ή την ποδιά, εξωτερικό ένδυμα εν είδει πουκάμισου, από λευκό βαμβακερό δίμιτο υφαντό που ύφαιναν οι Πυργούσαινες. Αποτελεί βασικό εξάρτημα της ανδρικής φορεσιάς του Πυργιού της Χίου, η οποία είναι γνωστή ως ποδιές ή ταρασοζίπουνα. Πρόκειται για φορεσιά που επέζησε μέχρι και τις αρχές του 20ού αιώνα, η οποία είναι πιθανόν ν' απηχεί το μεσαιωνικό τύπο φορεσιάς των αγροτών ορισμένων νησιών του Αιγαίου. Στα υπόλοιπα χωριά της Χίου επικρατεί ο γνωστός τύπος της νησιωτικής φορεσιάς με βράκα. Η πουκαμίσα αποτελείται από ένα μονοκόμματο φύλλο μπρος και πίσω με ραφή στους ώμους. Από τη μασχάλη και κάτω, από ένα πρόσθετο φύλλο πλάτους 20εκ. Φέρει μικρό γιακά σε σχήμα ορθογώνιο παραλληλόγραμμο. Μπροστά έχει βαθύ άνοιγμα μήκους 22εκ. Στο
πλάι, από ένα άνοιγμα (σκίσιμο) ύψους 60εκ., ολόγυρα γαρνιρισμένο με κέντημα δουλεμένο με πορτοκαλί μεταξοκλωστή. Με το ίδιο κέντημα διακοσμούνται ο ποδόγυρος της πουκαμίσας και ο γύρος του γιακά. Συνήθως οι πουκαμίσες αυτού του είδους έχουν οριζόντιες φαρδιές πιέτες, τις μπλέτες, από το γόνατο και κάτω. Η συγκεκριμένη πουκαμίσα δεν έχει πιέτες.
