Description
Καπουτσάλι, ταινία βελούδινου υφάσματος σε χρώμα κόκκινο. Πρόκειται για είδος υποσιαγώνιου για τη στερέωση του φεσιού, που περνάει κάτω από το σαγόνι και στερεώνεται πάνω στο φέσι με μικρούς γάντζους. Το καπουτσάλι είναι χρυσοκεντημένο στο χέρι από μεγαρίτισσες κεντήστρες και γι' αυτό θυμίζει πολύ την τεχνική και τον τρόπο διακόσμησης που συναντούμε στα ζιμπούνια της μεγαρίτικης γυναικείας φορεσιάς με το φουστάνι. Η χρυσοκέντητη μπορντούρα με το γεωμετρικό διάκοσμο γαρνίρεται με πούλιες χρυσές, στερεωμένες με τιρτίρι χρυσό. Ολόγυρα το καπουτσάλι είναι γαϊτανωμένο με χρυσό γαϊτάνι και στην απόληξή του με κορδόνι που δημιουργεί μικρές γλώσσες. Είναι φοδραρισμένο με βαμβακερό ύφασμα με σταυρόσχημα μοτίβα και λεπτές ρίγες.
