Description
Καπουτσάλι, ταινία βελούδινου υφάσματος σε χρώμα κόκκινο. Πρόκειται για είδος υποσιαγώνιου για τη στερέωση του φεσιού, που περνάει κάτω από το σαγόνι και στερεώνεται πάνω στο φέσι με μικρούς γάντζους. Το καπουτσάλι είναι χρυσοκεντημένο στο χέρι από μεγαρίτισσες κεντήστρες και γι' αυτό θυμίζει πολύ την τεχνική και τον τρόπο διακόσμησης που συναντούμε στα ζιμπούνια (μανικωτά ζακέτα) της μεγαρίτικης γυναικείας φορεσιάς με το φουστάνι. Τη διακόσμηση της χρυσοκεντημένης μπορντούρας συνθέτουν συνεχόμενα ελικοειδή κλαδόσχημα μοτίβα. Το υποσιαγώνιο είναι φοδραρισμένο με υπόλευκο βαμβακερό πανί.
