Description
Καπουτσάλι, ταινία βελούδινου υφάσματος σε χρώμα κόκκινο. Πρόκειται για είδος υποσιαγώνιου για τη στερέωση του φεσιού, που περνάει κάτω από το σαγόνι και στερεώνεται πάνω στο φέσι με μικρούς γάντζους. Το καπουτσάλι είναι χρυσοκεντημένο στο χέρι από μεγαρίτισσες κεντήστρες και γι' αυτό θυμίζει πολύ την τεχνική και τον τρόπο διακόσμησης που συναντούμε στα ζιμπούνια της μεγαρίτικης γυναικείας φορεσιάς με το φουστάνι. Το χρυσοκέντητο διάκοσμο συνθέτουν δέκα επαναλαμβανόμενα άνθη, που αποτελούν συνδετικό στοιχείο ανάμεσα σε ρομβόσχημα μοτίβα. Τα ρομβόσχημα μοτίβα περικλείουν σχηματοποιημένα φυτικά μοτίβα, που αποδίδονται με σπείρες. Το γέμισμά τους γίνεται με μικρές πούλιες στερεωμένες με τιρτίρι χρυσό. Το υποσιαγώνιο είναι ολόγυρα γαρνιρισμένο με χρυσό κορδόνι που δημιουργεί γλώσσες και φοδραρισμένο με μάλλινο ύφασμα σε βερικοκί χρώμα.
