Description
Μαργαριτάρι από σαντίφι, περιλαίμιο, εξάρτημα της νυφικής ενδυμασίας τα νυφ'κάτα, την οποία φορούν οι Βυσσιώτισσες και μετά το γάμο σε εξαιρετικές περιστάσεις. Σε χρυσό ιερατικό σειρήτι με κίτρινους ενυφασμένους σταυρούς και μικρά φυτικά μοτίβα είναι στερεωμένες δέκα σειρές από σιντεφένιες χάντρες και ένας σταυρός. Παλαιότερα, το κόσμημα αυτό προερχόταν από τα Ιεροσόλυμα ή το Άγιο Όρος.

It was bought in Thessaloniki (at the same place where women from Vyssa go even to this day to buy them) from Nelli Mellidou Kefala, director of the Folklife and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia and Thrace, for the needs of the exhibition Traditional Costumes of Thrace at the Museum of History of the Greek Costume, Lyceum Club of Greek Women (2002).
