Description
Άκρη, επιμήκης, επιμετώπια κεντητή ταινία, εξάρτημα του γιορτινού κεφαλοκαλύμματος. Φοριέται οριζόντια στο μέτωπο και δένεται πίσω έτσι, ώστε να συγκρατεί την κάρπα, βαμβακερό, υφαντό μαντίλι κεφαλής. Αποτελείται από μια λευκή βαμβακερή κεντρική λωρίδα, διακοσμημένη με κέντημα και από δυο πλευρικές, επίρραπτες στην πρώτη λωρίδες από μπουχασί, κόκκινο, βαμβακερό ύφασμα, που δίνουν μήκος στην άκρη. Τα κεντητά, γεωμετρικά μοτίβα είναι καμωμένα με βελονιές ανεβατή και ρίζα, από μεταξοκλωστές σε χρώματα κίτρινο, καφέ, δαμασκηνί, λευκό, πράσινο και γαλάζιο και μάλλινη, πορτοκαλέρυθρη κλωστή. Το ρέλιασμα του υφαντού γίνεται με καφέ μεταξωτή κλωστή. Αντίθετα, το μπουχασί είναι ρελιασμένο με κίτρινη μεταξοκλωστή που στο τελείωμα δημιουργεί φεστόνι και απολήγει σε κόκκινο μάλλινο φουντάκι.
