Description
Τιπές, κεφαλοκάλυμμα της γιορτινής ενδυμασίας της παντρεμένης από τα Βέντσια. Βασικό εξάρτημά του είναι ο τιπές, κόκκινο, τσόχινο φέσι από το οποίο παίρνει το όνομά του το κεφαλοκάλλυμα. Γύρω από αυτό τυλίγεται ο κότσος, χοντρή, μάλλινη πλεξίδα, από μαύρα μαλλιά γνεσμένα και στριμμένα σε λεπτά κορδόνια, που καταλήγει σε μακριά κρόσσια. Πάνω στον τιπέ ράβονται τα άσπρα, ασημένια νομίσματα τοποθετημένα φολιδωτά σε σπειροειδή διάταξη. Από αυτά, τα περισσότερα φέρουν αραβουργήματα. Αρκετά είναι ελληνικά, με ονομαστική αξία "20 λεπτά", ανάγλυφο δάφνινο στεφάνι και βασιλικό έμβλημα (κορώνα) καθώς και δυσδιάκριτη ημερομηνία κοπής καθώς συμπίπτει με τρύπα για τη στερέωσή τους. Υπάρχουν τουλάχιστον δύο νομίσματα κομμένα από την Κρητική Πολιτεία περίπου το 1910 που φέρουν επίσης ανάγλυφο το έμβλημα του Βασιλιά. Τέλος υπάρχουν
τουλάχιστον τρία ευρωπαϊκά νομίσματα με δυσανάγνωστα στοιχεία λόγω πολυκαιρίας (στο ένα διακρίνεται μόνο το όνομα της Μαρίας Θηρεσίας). Στο πλάι υπάρχει, επίρραπτη στον κότσο, βυσσινί τσόχινη λωρίδα από την οποία ξεκινούν τρεις κατακόρυφες λωρίδες πάνω στις οποίες στερεώνονται φολιδωτά παραδάκια και χάντρες χρωματιστές.
