Description
Τσεμπέρι, σκυριανό μωρουδιακό επιμετώπιο από υπόλευκο βαμβακομέταξο ύφασμα, κεντημένο με ξομπλιαστή βελονιά σε μοτίβο που σχηματίζει κυψέλες. Η κάθε μια κυψέλη περικλείει από ένα ανθάκι, που άλλοτε είναι σε πράσινο και άλλοτε σε βυσσινί χρώμα. Οι κυψέλες μεταξύ τους ενώνονται με μικρά κουτάκια κεντημένα με χρυσοκλωστή. Πάνω στο κέντημα δύο επίρραπτα αντικείμενα, ένας σταυρός από φίλντισι και ένα νόμισμα. Εντοπίζονται ίχνη στερέωσης και για ένα τρίτο επίρραπτο αντικείμενο, το οποίο όμως λείπει. Στη βάση του κεντήματος, μπορντούρα από μαύρη και βυσσινί κλωστή. Στο τελείωμα του κεντρικού τμήματος του τσεμπεριού κρέμονται επτά νομίσματα, εκ των οποίων τα δύο είναι γαλλικά και τα πέντε αμερικάνικα. Το κεντρικό τμήμα του ενώνεται δεξιά και αριστερά με δύο πλαϊνές λωρίδες με βελονιά μονό ψαραγκάθι, με
δύο και τρία πιασίματα. Οι πλαϊνές λωρίδες είναι από υπόλευκο μεταξωτό και καταλήγουν σε δύο λεπτές άκρες με φουντάκια. Με τις λωρίδες αυτές στερεώνεται το τσεμπέρι στο κεφάλι του μωρού.
