Description
Τετράγωνο, μονόφυλλο μαντίλι κεφαλής από λευκό, βαμβακερό τουλπάνι. Στη μία γωνία φέρει κέντημα, καμωμένο με βελονιά πισωγάζι και κουμπότρυπα από μεταξωτά νήματα αλλά και χρυσοκλωστή. Συγκλίνουσες ευθείες, σε χρώματα μπλε, οινέρυθρο και μαύρο, σχηματίζουν μεγάλο τετράγωνο που περιέχει και άλλα μικρότερα μοτίβα, υπογραμμισμένα με χρώματα γαλάζιο, κίτρινο και ροζ. Από τις εξωτερικές πλευρές του τετραγώνου ξεκινούν φούντες μαύρες. Τη διακόσμηση συμπληρώνουν πούλιες και πέντε νομίσματα στερεωμένα σε ροζ κορδέλα. Τα νομίσματα φέρουν ανάγλυφη ανδρική κεφαλή στη μία όψη ενώ στην άλλη επιγραφή "ΑUSTRALIA THREE PENSE 1942" ή "ΑUSTRALIA THREE PENSE 1943". Ολόγυρα, το μαντίλι είναι γαρνιρισμένο με μπιμπίλα καμωμένη με το βελόνα από γαλάζια μεταξοκλωστή.
