Physical Description
Description
Μπόλια, μακρύτατη μεταξωτή εσάρπα με ενυφασμένες χρυσές ρίγες και χρυσή κροσωτή απόληξη. Αποτελεί εξάρτημα του γιορτινού κεφαλοκαλύμματος της γυναικείας κουλουριώτικης φορεσιάς. Κατά μήκος της μιας μακριάς πλευράς φέρει επίρραπτη διακόσμηση με χρυσή δαντέλα. Στις άκρες της μπόλιας, χρυσές ενυφασμένες ρίγες σε οριζόντια διάταξη οι οποίες σχηματίζουν τρεις ταινίες. Ακριβώς κάτω απ' αυτές, επίρραπτη ταινία από υπόλευκο βαμβακερό ύφασμα πλάτους 8εκ., κεντημένη με χρυσοκλωστή και πολύχρωμα μετάξια. Η τεχνική του κεντήματος είναι γραφτή, με ανεβατή βελονιά. Ο διάκοσμος είναι φυτικός με πέντε χρυσοκεντημένα σιγμοειδή κλαδιά να αναπτύσσονται συμμετρικά τοποθετημένα. Απ' αυτά τα κλαδιά φύονται δύο μικρά άνθη και ένα μεγαλύτερο, δουλεμένα με μπλε, γκρι-σιελ, κόκκινες και κεραμιδί μεταξοκλωστές.
