Description
Τετράγωνο βαμβακερό σταμπωτό μαντίλι σε κίτρινο κάμπο, διπλωμένο στα δύο τριγωνικά. Αποτελεί κεφαλοκάλυμμα της γυναικείας μεγαρίτικης φορεσιάς με τον καπλαμά. Το μαντίλι είναι κατασκευή της βιοτεχνίας Οικονομόπουλου. Περιφερειακά το σταμπωτό διάκοσμο αποτελούν δύο παράλληλα φυλλοφόρα κλαδιά από τα οποία φύονται τέσσερα ανθάκια και ένα μεγαλύτερο στην κορυφή σε μπλε και μωβ χρώμα. Στις τέσσερις γωνίες του μαντιλιού η διακόσμηση γίνεται με δύο κλαδόσχημα μοτίβα που περιβάλλουν γυναικεία φιγούρα πάνω σε άρμα που το σέρνουν τέσσερα πουλιά. Στο κέντρο, το διάκοσμο συνθέτουν ένα στεφάνι από λουλούδια που περιβάλλεται από τέσσερα επαναλαμβανόμενα φυλλοφόρα κλαδιά με άνθη και καρπούς. Στα κενά που δημιουργούνται ανάμεσά τους η διακόσμηση γίνεται με πουλιά που τσιμπολογούν τους καρπούς των κλαδόσχημων μοτίβων. Στην κεντρική γωνία φέρει επίρραπτη διακόσμηση
με χρυσή δαντέλα του μέτρου, δύο φλουριά και δύο στελέχη τυλιγμένα με χρυσοκλωστή που καταλήγουν σε φούντες.
