Description
Μαλλίτικο, μάλλινο μαντίλι, εξάρτημα του γυναικείου κεφαλοκαλύμματος της Ολύμπου, που ονομάζεται τα σκουφο(γ)ύρια, και φοριέται με τη φορεσιά με το καβάι. Μπαίνει πάνω από τα αντιτσέμπερα και δένεται χαμηλά στο μέτωπο ώστε να φαίνονται τα λουλούδια που διακοσμούν το μαντίλι. Απαρτίζεται από τη συρραφή δύο διαφορετικών μαντιλιών. Το κεντρικό (τετράγωνο) είναι κίτρινο βαθύ (κροκί) με μαύρο σταμπωτό φυτικό διάκοσμο: ολόγυρα μπορντούρα από επαναλαμβανόμενα μοτίβα, στις γωνίες εσωτερικά σύνθεση μεγάλη με κλαδιά φύλλα και λουλούδια και στο κέντρο στεφανάκι. Τις δύο αντικρυστές γωνίες καλύπτει το δεύτερο μαντίλι: δύο επίρραπτα τμήματα σε κάθε πλευρά, ένα ορθογώνιο και ένα τρίγωνο (του οποίου η εξωτερική πλευρά είναι απλά κομμένη, χωρίς καρίκωμα). Σε ορισμένα τμήματα το επίρραπτο μαντίλι καλύπτει τη μπορνούρα του κεντρικού. Τον βαθύ
οινέρυθρο κάμπο του δεύτερου μαντιλιού κοσμεί μεγάλη σταμπωτή σύνθεση από φύλλα, λουλούδια και κλαδιά σε έντονα χρώματα. Στο πλάι, το μαντίλι αυτό απολήγει σε μάλλινα κρόσσια.
