Description
Μαλλίτικο μαντίλι, εξάρτημα του γυναικείου κεφαλοκαλύμματος της Ολύμπου, που ονομάζεται τα σκουφο(γ)ύρια, και φοριέται με τη φορεσιά με το καβάι. Μπαίνει πάνω από τα αντιτσέμπερα και δένεται χαμηλά στο μέτωπο ώστε να φαίνονται τα λουλούδια που διακοσμούν το μαντίλι. Πάνω σε μαύρη χοντρή βαμβακερή γάζα, διπλωμένη τριγωνικά, επίρραπτα τμήματα μάλλινου μαντιλιού. Ένα τετράγωνο στο κέντρο (στη "μύτη" του τριγώνου) και δύο ορθογώνια δεξιά και αριστερά. Το μάλλινο αυτό μαντίλι, φερμένο συνήθως από την Πόλη ή τη Σμύρνη, είναι μαύρο και έχει σταμπωτό φυτικό διάκοσμο: μπορντούρα ολόγυρα από πράσινα φύλλα και κλαδιά και τριαντάφυλλα στους τόνους του ροζ και ίδια ανθάκια στο κέντρο. Στις δύο πλαϊνές πλευρές επίρραπτη δαντέλα με κόκκινη βαμβακερή κλωστή από όπου κρέμονται πιτσίλια, χάντρες, μεταλλικά ελάσματα σε
σχήμα φύλλου και αστρουλάκια. Η μπιμπίλα πρέπει να είναι μεταγενέστερη προσθήκη· πιτσίλια έβαζαν οι νέες και οι αρραβωνιασμένες στα αντιτσέμπερα. Το μαντίλι αυτό είναι πολύ σκούρο για να ανήκε σε νέα. Το μάλλινο μαντίλι έχει απόληξη άβαφη (κρόσσι λευκό).
