Description
Μπόλια, μακρύτατη ολομέταξη εσάρπα κεντημένη στις άκρες της με χρυσοκλωστή και πολύχρωμες μεταξοκλωστές. Αποτελεί εξάρτημα του γιορτινού κεφαλοκαλύμματος της γυναικείας φορεσιάς της Σαλαμίνας (Κούλουρη). Κατά μήκος της κάθε μακριάς πλευράς της φέρει πλατιά ούγια και τέσσερις λεπτές ενυφασμένες ρίγες παράλληλες προς αυτή. Στις άκρες της, σε οριζόντια διάταξη, ενυφασμένες λεπτές ρίγες σχηματίζουν δύο δέσμες. Κάτω απ' αυτές η μπόλια διακοσμείται με φυτικά και ζωομορφικά μοτίβα δουλεμένα με γραφτή τεχνική. Πέντε σιγμοειδή κλαδόσχημα μοτίβα καλύπτουν μιαν επιφάνεια πλάτους 6εκ. Απ' αυτά φύονται ζωηρόχρωμα άνθη, των οποίων το περίγραμμα τονίζεται με τη χρήση μεταξοκλωστής και το γέμισμά τους γίνεται με ροζ, κόκκινες, μπλε, σιέλ μεταξοκλωστές. Με μεταξοκλωστές σε τρεις τόνους του πράσινου είναι δουλεμένα τα φύλλα. Πάνω από τα κλαδιά δύο χρυσοκεντημένα
πουλιά με τις λεπτομέρειες τους να τονίζονται με τη χρήση ροζ και κόκκινης μεταξοκλωστής. Στο τελείωμα της μπόλιας επίρραπτη διακόσμηση με χρυσή τρέσα με κροσωτή απόληξη.
