Description
Κεφαλόκομπτσα τετραπλή, αλυσιδωτό επιχρυσωμένο κόσμημα κεφαλής με δύο συρματερούς ρόδακες σε κάθε άκρο της, στολισμένους με πράσινες γυάλινες πέτρες. Πρόκειται για εξάρτημα του γυναικείου κεφαλοκαλύμματος των Καραγκούνηδων των Τρικάλων και της Καρδίτσας. Οι κεφαλόκομπτσες τοποθετούνται λοξά, από αριστερά προς τα δεξιά στο πίσω μέρος της μπερέτας (κεφαλοκάλυμμα). Από τους δύο ρόδακες ξεκινούν πέντε σειρές αλυσίδες άνισες μεταξύ τους, οι οποίες διακόπτονται από μια συρματερή πλάκα. Η επιφάνεια της δίνει την αίσθηση μιας χρυσοπλεγμένης δαντέλας. Απ' αυτή εξαρτάται πτηνόμορφος γάντζος (περιστέρα). Οι αλυσίδες συνεχίζουν καταλήγοντας σε άλλους δύο συρματερούς ρόδακες.
