Description
Μαντίλι του κόρφου ή τσοβρές, τετράγωνο λευκό μαντίλι από λευκή οργαντίνα, εξάρτημα της γυναικείας τρικεριώτικης φορεσιάς. Είναι κεντημένο με κοφτό κέντημα, με τέσσερα μπουκέτα λουλουδιών (ένα σε κάθε γωνία) και ολόγυρα φέρει γλωσσωτές απολήξεις. Πρόκειται για νυφικό μαντίλι που διπλώνεται τριγωνικά και στερεώνεται κάτω από τα κλειδωτάρια (κόσμημα μέσης), ενώ οι δυο του άκρες γυρίζουν προς τα μέσα. Το συγκεκριμένο μαντίλι είναι νεότερου τύπου, καθώς τα παλαιότερα μαντίλια του κόρφου ή ήταν μεταξωτά (σταμπωτά) χρωματιστά με κρόσια ή κεντημένα με ανεβατή βελονιά, ενώ άλλα ήταν κεντημένα με χρυσοκλωστή.
