Description
Μανικούλια, ζεύγος επιμάνικων που φοριούνται πάνω από τα καβαδομάνικα. Είναι δώρο του γαμπρού προς τη νύφη και φοριούνται από τις αρραβωνιασμένες, τις νύφες και τις νιόπαντρες. Πρόκειται για τραπεζιόσχημες, επιμήκεις φαρδιές ταινίες που κλείνουν με κόπιτσες στην εσωτερική πλευρά του βραχίονα και εκτείνονται από την κλείδωση του αγκώνα και προς τα πάνω. Τα μανικούλια φτιάχνονται και κεντιώνται από το ράφτη. Εσωτερικά είναι ενισχυμένα με καναβάτσο και ύστερα ασταρωμένα (φοδραρισμένα) με μαύρο και υπόλευκο βαμβακερό ύφασμα, πράσινο ρούχο (τσόχα) και πράσινο και μπλε κατφέ (βελούδο). Η διακόσμησή τους είναι καμωμένη με χρυσό κορδόνι. Από κάτω προς τα πάνω αρχικά έχουμε κυματιστή γραμμή με δύο ρομβόσχημα μοτίβα καμωμένα από δύο αντίνωτα ντουγαδάκια και ένα τριγωνικό (ντουγαδάκι). Ύστερα, σε οριζόντια διάταξη, ντουγαδάκια, ζέχια
(ευθείες γραμμές), κουτρουλός κυνηγός (σπειρομαίανδρος), ζέχια και θηλίτσες, μπορντούρα με κλήμα (σχηματοποιημένα φυτικά μοτίβα), ζέχια και θηλίτσες και δύο σειρές γαϊτάνι διπλό, από κίτρινη μεταξοκλωστή και χρυσόνημα. Ακολουθούν ουτραδένια ζέχια (από μαύρο μεταξωτό κορδόνι) και τέλος μια σειρά γαϊτάνι και μια ντουγαδάκια.
