Description
Υπόλευκη τραχηλιά από πουκάμισο, για τις Λευκαδίτισσες το ιερότερο κομμάτι της φορεσιάς. Φοριόταν κατάσαρκα, ήταν ένδυμα κρυφό και νυχτερινό, που μόνον ο σύζυγος είχε το δικαίωμα να δεί. Το μεγάλο άνοιγμα (31εκ.) στολίζεται με πλούσιο ασπροκέντημα που φτάνει σε πλάτος τα 7εκ. Ταινία πλ. 2εκ. από σχηματοποιημένα λουλούδια πλαισιώνει το άνοιγμα της τραχηλιάς και περιβάλλει τη λαιμόκοψη, με το γωνιώδες εξωτερικό της περίγραμμα. Από το επάνω μέρος του ανοίγματος και επί 24εκ. το κέντημα φαρδαίνει και εμπλουτίζεται με σχηματοποιημένο λεπτό φυτικό διάκοσμο. Στο τελείωμα, λεπτή δαντέλα με τη βελόνα και υπόλευκο μεταξωτό γαϊτάνι που έδενε στη μύτη του ανοίγματος.
