Description
Τμήμα ποδόγυρου από κεντητό πουκάμισο (φούντι) που οι γυναίκες φορούσαν στο χορό (βάλα). Προέρχεται από τη "μάνα" του πουκάμισου και, επειδή διαθέτουμε και τη "μάνα" της άλλης όψης (Α.Τ.Α. 13354), επισημαίνουμε την ασυνήθιστη ομοιότητα των δυο, ενώ στο βάλα-φούντι το μπροστινό φύλλο έχει πλουσιότερο διάκοσμο. Το κέντημα με τα μαύρα και τα λίγα καστανόμαυρα μετάξια είναι γενικά αρκετά πρωτότυπο. Η συμπαγής μαύρη ταινία (5εκ.) απολήγει σε σειρά από ανθισμένα κλαδάκια που στηρίζουν "κυπαρίσσια", εξίσου συμπαγείς, μακρόστενους στύλους. Στην κορυφή τους προβάλλει το άνω κορμός γυναικείας μορφής με υψωμένα χέρια λυγισμένα στους αγκώνες. Δυο τέτοιες μορφές, συμπληρωμένες με τριγωνικό κάτω κορμό και πόδια, παρεμβάλλονται ανάμεσα στα "κυπαρίσσια". Εντύπωση προκαλεί η επιμονή στο σχήμα "Ψ" που είτε ολόκληρο είτε με μόνο τις
κορυφές του, διαγράφει τα κεφάλια, τα χέρια και τα πόδια στις χορεύτριες, τα διαχωριστικά τους ενδιάμεσα στοιχεία αλλά και τα λουλούδια του φυτικού μοτίβου.
