Description
Κουμπτσί, καρδιόσχημη χυτή πλάκα με εγχάρακτες ανθρωπόμορφες παραστάσεις γεμισμένες με μαύρο σαβάτι. Αποτελεί τμήμα της καραγκούνικης μπαλτσούδας, κόσμημα της μέσης, που άρχισε να εγκαταλείπεται γύρω στα 1938-1940 και έπαψε οριστικά να χρησιμοποιείται γύρω στα 1950. Η συγκεκριμένη κόπτσα (κουμπτσί) συναντάται συνήθως στην κορυφή της μπαλτσούδας. Αυτή συνδεόταν με κρίκο με μία τριγωνική πλάκα, στην οποία ήταν προσαρμοσμένες 10-12 αλυσίδες (άλτσια), που κατέληγαν σε τριγωνική πλάκα. Η μπαλτσούδα κατατάσσεται στα ασημικά της αρραβωνιασμένης και της νιόπαντρης, καθώς αποτελούσε δώρο του αρραβωνιαστικού. Φορέθηκε όμως και από κοπέλες που ήταν στην κοινωνική ηλικία του γάμου, που ήταν ευκατάστατες ή συνέβαινε να την κληρονομήσουν από τη μητέρα τους. Η μπαλτσούδα στερεώνεται με τους γάντζους του κουμπτσιού στο ζωνάρι της ανύπαντρης ή στις δύο τραχηλιές
του ανοίγματος του σαγιά, λίγο πιο πάνω από το ασημοζούναρο της αρραβωνιασμένης και της νιόπαντρης και με την κόπιτσα της άλλης άκρης στο σαγιά κοντά στο δεξί λαγγόνι.
