Description
Κορδόνι, κόσμημα στήθους, εξάρτημα της νυφικής ενδυμασίας τα νυφ'κάτα, την οποία φορούν οι Βυσσιώτισσες και μετά το γάμο σε εξαιρετικές περιστάσεις. Το κορδόνι φοριέται κάτω από τη δαντέλα. Με χάντρες, κυρίως μαύρες αλλά και μπλε, πράσινες, ιριδίζουσες και άλλες, είτε στερεωμένες σε μαύρο κορδόνι είτε περασμένες σε μαύρη βαμβακερή κλωστή σχηματίζονται τρία μεγάλα άνθη και πολυάριθμα κρόσσια. Δεξιά και αριστερά, στα άνω άκρα, δύο θηλιές για να στερεώνεται το κορδόνι.

Additional information
It was bought in Thessaloniki (at the same place where women from Vyssa go even to this day to buy them) from Nelli Mellidou Kefala, director of the Folklife and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia and Thrace, for the needs of the exhibition Traditional Costumes of Thrace at the Museum of History of the Greek Costume, Lyceum Club of Greek Women (2002).
