Description
Σία, επιστήθιο κόσμημα από τέσσερις επάλληλες σειρές μάλλινα γαϊτάνια, δύο δίχρωμες και δύο μονόχρωμες, εναλλάξ. Στις δίχρωμες τα γαϊτάνια συμπλέκονται και στερεώνονται ανά τακτά διαστήματα σχηματίζοντας ζιγκ - ζαγκ. Στο κέντρο περίπου του κοσμήματος ένα επίρραπτο σταυρουδάκι. Από την τελευταία σειρά των γαϊτανιών εξαρτώνται δεκαέξι νομίσματα στερεωμένα με κλωστές, οι οποίες καλύπτονται από ποικιλόχρωμες χάντρες σε διάφορα μεγέθη. Το συγκεκριμένο κόσμημα αποτελεί την παλαιότερη μορφή επιστήθιου κοσμήματος της γυναικείας φορεσιάς της Ορεινής. Ο νεότερος τύπος της σία είναι μια διπλή χρυσή αλυσίδα απ' όπου κρέμονται επτά ως εννέα μεγάλα χρυσά νομίσματα.
