Description
Επιστήθιο αποτελούμενο από τη συρραφή δύο κομματιών βαμβακερού υφάσματος, που στο κέντρο τους φέρουν ένα επίρραπτο κομμάτι μπλε βελούδου. Το βελούδινο τμήμα φέρει κατακόρυφο ταινιόσχημο θέμα με χρυσοκεντημένο κατά μήκος σχηματοποιημένο φυτικό διάκοσμο. Στην ουσία πρόκειται για έναν κοιλόκυρτο βλαστό από τον οποίο φύονται σχηματοποιημένα μοτίβα. Στο γύρο του λαιμού γαρνίρισμα με χρυσό γαϊτάνι και με μπορντούρα με μικρά χρυσοκεντημένα ανθικά μοτίβα. Το συγκεκριμένο αντικείμενο αν και αποτελεί τμήμα ολόκληρης ενδυμασίας των τελών του 19ου αιώνα, πιθανολογώ ότι αποτελεί μεταγενέστερη κατασκευή.
