Description
Επίχρυσο γιορντάνι, επιστήθιο κόσμημα δουλεμένο με συρματερή τεχνική, στολισμένο με ποικιλόχρωμες γυάλινες πέτρες. Αποτελείται από μία σειρά συνεχόμενων πλακιδίων, των οποίων η επιφάνεια δίνει την αίσθηση μιας χρυσοπλεγμένης δαντέλας. Ο διάκοσμός τους στηρίζεται στη σύνθεση σχηματοποιημένων άνθινων θεμάτων με την επανάληψη βασικών στοιχείων, όπως είναι οι σπείρες, η έλικα και τα λεπτότατα επίθετα ρομβόσχημα ελάσματα. Στην κορυφή του κάθε πλακιδίου, ένα σχηματοποιημένο συρματερό άνθος. Χρωματιστές πέτρες, κόκκινες, μπλε, πράσινες στολίζουν και παράλληλα φωτίζουν την επιφάνειά τους. Από τη βάση του γιορντανιού κρέμονται ψεύτικα φλουριά και στη μέση περίπου της βάσης ένας συρματερός σταυρός. Το κόσμημα στερεώνεται στο ρούχο με δύο συρματερούς γάντζους. Το γιορντάνι συναντάται να κοσμεί τη γυναικεία φορεσιά της Αττικής.
