Description
Υπόλευκη, σαφένια μαξιλαροθήκη, απ' την οποία δεν σώζεται το κάτω μέρος της θήκης. Είναι στολισμένη ολόγυρα με λεπτή δαντέλα του μέτρου, πλάτους 7εκ. Κομψό στεφάνι από λουλούδι και φύλλα υπογραμμίζεται από διπλή καμπύλη με γλωσσωτές απολήξεις. Τον κυματισμό διακόπτουν ενδιάμεσα αντεστραμμένα ρόδα. Οι ρίγες του αραχνοΰφαντου μεταξωτού διασταυρώνονται έτσι ώστε να δημιουργούν στο κέντρο ένα τετράγωνο, το οποίο πλαισιώνει το κεντημένο μονόγραμμα Α. Από το καλλιγραφικό κεφαλαίο γράμμα φυτρώνουν λεπτοί μίσχοι με ανθάκια και φύλλα και μια χαριτωμένη οκταπέταλη μαργαρίτα τοποθετημένη στο μέσον της πλατιάς κεραίας του Α, σαν λουλούδι σε πέτο. Τα περιγράμματα του μονογράμματος, όπως και ο ανθικός διάκοσμος, έχουν κεντηθεί με πλακέ βελονιά με ενδιάμεσο ποίκιλμα από μικρά κομπάκια που έχουν δημιουργηθεί από κέντημα (κασινάκι και αλυσίδα)
στην ανάποδη όψη. Την μαξιλαροθήκη έχει κεντήσει για το γάμο της {1885-1890) η Ασπασία Θεολογίτου.
