Description
Γυναικείο, μαύρο, ζωνάρι με κροσσωτές απολήξεις. Αποτελείται από τη συρραφή δύο στενόμακρων λωρίδων υφάσματος κατά πλάτος. Το ένα, μήκους 1,38μ., είναι μαλλοβάμβακο ενώ το άλλο, μήκους 0,98μ., είναι μάλλινο. Υφαίνεται από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες ή ειδικές υφάντρες, αρχικά λευκό και ύστερα βάφεται με βαφή του εμπορίου. Διπλώνεται στα δύο κατά μήκος και φοριέται πάντα με το άνοιγμα προς τα πάνω έτσι, ώστε να δημιουργείται ένα είδος τσέπης. Από τα κρόσσια της μιας πλευράς του δένεται η ζώνα, στενό και επίμηκες, κόκκινο ζωνάρι. Η κατακόρυφη, στενή πλευρά του μαλλοβάμβακου υφάσματος είναι γαρνιρισμένη με δύο σειρές επίρραπτο, μαύρο, μάλλινο γαϊτάνι στην όψη που τοποθετείται εξωτερικά. Τέλος, από τον τρόπο ύφανσης και των δύο υφασμάτων δημιουργούνται διαγώνιες γραμμώσεις (ενυφασμένος διάκοσμος).
