Description
Γυναικείο, μαύρο, μάλλινο ζωνάρι με κροσσωτή απολήξη. Υφαίνεται από τις ίδιες τις γυναίκες ή ειδικές υφάντρες, αρχικά λευκό και ύστερα βάφεται με βαφή του εμπορίου. Διπλώνεται στα δύο κατά μήκος και φοριέται πάντα με το άνοιγμα προς τα πάνω έτσι, ώστε να δημιουργείται ένα είδος τσέπης. Από τα κρόσσια της μιας πλευράς του δένεται η ζώνα, στενό και επίμηκες, κόκκινο ζωνάρι. Οι οριζόντιες είναι στριφωμένες και γαζωμένες με τρεις σειρές γαλάζια κλωστή. Οι κατακόρυφες, στενές πλευρές είναι γαρνιρισμένες με τρεις σειρές επίρραπτο, μαύρο, μάλλινο γαϊτάνι, που συνεχίζει και στις οριζόντιες, σε μήκος περίπου 60εκ., πάνω από το στρίφωμα. Τέλος, από τον τρόπο ύφανσης δημιουργούνται διαγώνιες γραμμώσεις (ενυφασμένος διάκοσμος).
