Description
Καπχαδένιος μεντενές, μανικωτό ζακέτο από στόφα σε λαδί χρώμα με ενυφασμένα μεγάλα ανθικά μοτίβα με μεταξοκλωστές σε ροζ, κίτρινο και εκρού χρώμα. Αποτελεί εξάρτημα της νυφικής φορεσιάς της Σκύρου. Το ζακέτο είναι κοντό και εφαρμοστό. Στα πλάγια φέρει ανοίγματα, γνωστά ως λαντζόλια. Έχει μακριά μανίκια κομμένα στο ίσο, που στο κάτω τμήμα φαρδαίνουν ελάχιστα. Είναι σχιστά στο σημείο της ραφής από τον αγκώνα και κάτω. Τα δύο φύλλα που σχηματίζονται λέγονται καπάκια και είναι φοδραρισμένα με κάμποτο. Ο μεντενές είναι γαρνιρισμένος με χρυσό γαϊτάνι, με μονή σειρά ολόγυρα και διπλή στα καπάκια.
