Description
Γιαλαμπένιος μεντενές, γιορτινό μανικωτό ζακέτο από ταφτά χρώματος μπλε, σε απόχρωση του οινοπνεύματος, κοντό μέχρι τη μέση και εφαρμοστό. Στα δύο πλάγια φέρει ανοίγματα, γνωστά ως λαντζόλια. Έχει μακριά μανίκια, κομμένα στο ίσο, που στο κάτω τμήμα τους φαρδαίνουν ελάχιστα. Είναι σχιστά στο σημείο της ραφής από τον αγκώνα και κάτω. Τα δύο φύλλα που σχηματίζονται λέγονται καπάκια και είναι φοδραρισμένα με στόφα μεταξωτή με κάθετες επαναλαμβανόμενες ρίγες άλλοτε πιο στενές και άλλοτε πιο πλατιές, σε μωβ, πράσινο, κίτρινο, μπλε και καφέ χρώμα, με ενυφασμένα ανθικά και γεωμετρικά μοτίβα. Ο μεντενές είναι φοδραρισμένος με κάμποτο και εσωτερικά φέρει επίρραπτο τσεπάκι, τη μπουζνάρα, από βαμβακερό ύφασμα σκούρου πράσινου χρώματος.
