Description
Σιγκούνι από λευκή και μαύρη, ασπροκεντημένη τσόχα που φοριόταν τόσο στην Ελευσίνα, όσο και στα Ψαχνά της Εύβοιας. Είναι ντυμένο με βαμβακερό πανί δύο ποιοτήτων και έδενε στη μέση με άσπρη κορδέλα του μέτρου. Από την εξαιρετικής ποιότητας άσπρη τσόχα είναι φτιαγμένα ένα στενό πίσω φύλλο, δύο κοντύτερα μπροστινά (το δεξιό από δύο κομμάτια) και το πλαϊνό τμήμα του σιγκουνιού, που αποτελείται από ένα μεγάλο κομμάτι και ένα μικρότερο τριγωνικό. Η μαύρη τσόχα φτιάχνει το μπροστινό άνοιγμα και το οριζόντιο τελείωμα του σιγκουνιού, τμήμα της πλάτης και της πλευράς ως κάτω από τη μέση, ενώ συνδέει μπροστά, με μικρό κομμάτι κάτω από το χέρι, την πλαϊνή και την μπροστινή μαύρη τσόχα. Πίσω στη μέση, κάτω από την ένωση των δύο
κομματιών τσόχας, το ύφασμα είναι "τσιμπημένο" ώστε να προεξέχει. Όλα τα ανοίγματα του σιγκουνιού ρελιάζονται με μαύρη κορδέλα. Τρέσα με κρόσια στολίζει τα τελειώματα της μαύρης τσόχας πίσω και στο πλάι, ενώ οι κατακόρυφες πλευρές της συνοδεύονται από μαύρο, μάλλινο κορδόνι στερεωμένο με ροζ-κυκλαμινί κλωστή. Το ίδιο κορδόνι συνοδεύει και το πάνω μέρος της οριζόντιας λωρίδας του τελειώματος. Το ταινιόσχημο κέντημα με κυματιστούς μίσχους και ανθάκια ξετυλίγεται ανάμεσα σε περίγραμμα από γαζιά και διπλά ζιγκ-ζαγκ που σχηματίζουν μικρούς ρόμβους. Στα ακόσμητα μπροστινά τμήματα έχουν κεντηθεί μονογράμματα: το αριστερό είναι "Μ" ενώ το δεξιά είναι δυσανάγνωστο.
