Description
Μέστια, ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από χρωματιστά μάλλινα νήματα που συνήθως φορούν οι γυναίκες με παντόφλες. Είναι κοντά, μόλις που φτάνουν ως τον αστράγαλο. Αποτελούνται από δύο φύλλα ενωμένα κατακόρυφα λίγο πριν το κέντρο. Το μεγάλο είναι καμωμένο με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος. Το μικρό, που είναι πλεγμένο με το βελονάκι, έχει στενό, επίμηκες άνοιγμα για να εφαρμόζει στο πόδι. Με νήματα σε χρώμα καφέ, κίτρινο, οινέρυθρο και πράσινο σχηματίζονται κατακόρυφες φαρδιές ρίγες στο μικρό κομμάτι. Τον κροκί κάμπο του μεγάλου κομματιού διακόπτουν επίσης κατακόρυφες ρίγες, οι οποίες όμως προκύπτουν από την επανάληψη μικρών, σχηματοποιημένων μοτίβων. Τα χρώματά τους είναι πράσινο με φούξια, μαύρο με κίτρινο, καφέ και οινέρυθρο. Στο σημείο των δακτύλων οι κάλτσες είναι καφέ με μικροσκοπικά κίτρινα μοτίβα.
