Description
Μέστια, ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από χρωματιστά μάλλινα νήματα που συνήθως φορούν οι γυναίκες με παντόφλες. Είναι κοντά, μόλις που φτάνουν ως τον αστράγαλο. Αποτελούνται από δύο φύλλα ενωμένα κατακόρυφα λίγο πριν το κέντρο. Το μεγάλο είναι καμωμένο με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος. Το μικρό, που είναι πλεγμένο με το βελονάκι, έχει στενό, επίμηκες άνοιγμα για να εφαρμόζει στο πόδι. Με νήματα σε χρώμα μαύρο, καφέ, κόκκινο, πορτοκαλί, κίτρινο και πράσινο σχηματίζονται κατακόρυφες ρίγες. Μικροσκοπικά μοτίβα, σε χρώματα γαλάζιο, πράσινο, καφέ, μαύρο, κίτρινο, κόκκινο και λευκό, κατά μήκος κάθε ζώνης, συμπληρώνουν τη διακόσμηση.
