Description
Μέστια, ζεύγος πλεχτών καλτσών από χρωματιστά μάλλινα νήματα που συνήθως φορούν οι γυναίκες με παντόφλες. Είναι κοντά, μόλις που φτάνουν ως τον αστράγαλο. Αποτελούνται από δύο φύλλα ενωμένα κατακόρυφα λίγο πριν το κέντρο. Το μεγάλο είναι καμωμένο με τη βελόνα του πλεξίματος. Το μικρό, που είναι πλεγμένο με το βελονάκι, έχει στενό, επίμηκες άνοιγμα για να εφαρμόζει στο πόδι. Με νήματα σε χρώμα κυπαρισσί, καφέ, λευκό και βιολετί σχηματίζονται κατακόρυφες και οριζόντιες φαρδιές ρίγες στο μικρό κομμάτι. Το λευκό κάμπο του μεγάλου κομματιού διάκοπτουν τέσσερις κατακόρυφες κλαδόσχημες μπορντούρες σε χρώματα κεραμέρυθρο, κυπαρισσί και μαύρο.
